Shortbread tea cookies topped with edible flowers and herbs, served with a cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, ice tea, and anything else you might like at the moment. Imagine it. Close your eyes and imagine a lovely treat in the afternoon or evening, by the fire in winter, on the porch on a summer evening.
This is a complete list as of June 23, 2020. Floral and herbal cookies are a seasonal offering because almost every plant will be harvested the morning the cookies are baked. They’re almost always fresh plants. Lavender is an exception. I grow culinary grade flowers that dry well and am able to buy the same quality from a reliable source. Think of what’s in season, and if you’re not sure, email me for the current list!

Herbal Shortbreads are often more savory than the floral Shortbreads. Chocolate mint and lemon balm are on the sweeter side. The flavor isn’t too strong but keep it in mind.
